Gluten Free & Other Special Menu Items Disclaimer

Gluten is the protein in wheat, rye, oat and barley that cannot be digested when consumed. Gluten sensitivity can affect not just the digestive tract but also any organ or system in the body.

If you are gluten-sensitive, eliminating gluten from your diet is the only solution, and it is both effective and essential in addressing symptoms ana maintaining health, it is not a diet fad and it can cause a variety of health issues.

At Green Leaves restaurant, we strive to educate our staff on gluten allergies and understand why some of our customers needed to be gluten free. Special color labeling and plates are utilized.

To eliminate all gluten from other ingredients, separate utensil, cutting boards, pots, pans and a separate area for Gluten Free production is implemented.  Hidden contamination areas are identified like door handles, contaminated aprons, hand sink and pot holders.

In providing Gluten Free food on the menu, we do not compromise taste and quality.
